Meet Dr. Andrea
positive psychology + holistic well-being + systems thinking
I’m just like you.
That is, if you identify as a coffee-drinking, (recovering) perfectionist who’s a wee-bit obsessed with her dog…
Well, then- I’m just like you.
I’m a wife and mom (to a launched young adult!), who has an extensive background in psychology, mental health, and special/gifted education. I went to school and racked up a few degrees so I could help others.
(And if I’m honest, also to learn a few things that I was never taught growing up.)
I love helping people see and lean into their unique superpowers. I get emotional when someone overcomes something difficult or reaches a major goal!
I like to think that I’m down-to-earth, approachable, and compassionate.
In fact, I’ve never hid behind my title or degrees. I use it here only because I know it’s important to some people.
But in my real life, I’m just plain Andrea.
(Or maybe “Dr. Dre” if I’m feeling cheeky.)
And in case you’re wondering: “Does this woman have any real experience?”
I have over ten years of university study combined with over twenty years of professional work in behavioral healthcare, research, positive psychology, clinical practice, and education.
On top of that, let’s just say—my life hasn’t been a smooth ride, so we’ll add another 40+ years of real-life experience.
