Parenting made positive.
I totally get it.
Parenting these days is tough.
If you feel like you’ve tried all the things— read the parenting books, listened to podcasts, joined parent groups—and you’re still at a loss, you’ve come to the right place.
And if you’ve got a kid with additional challenges or special needs (e.g., giftedness, neuro-diversity, social-emotional issues, etc.), well, then— give yourself a ton of extra grace.
Listen: You’re not a bad parent.
And your kid is not a bad kid.
It takes a lot of intentional work, patience, and yes—some parenting ninja skills— to successfully navigate your child from birth through adulthood.
And yep, it truly takes a village.
I’m here to help.

learn more about my parent coaching process
Using my training in clinical, school, and educational psychology, and drawing upon insights from the fields of child and adult development, learning theory, and positive psychology, I work primarily with parents of adolescents and emerging/young adults, on development-appropriate issues and common parenting struggles.
I also support parents of gifted, bright, and highly sensitive children.
Parenting in the Struggle
I’m particularly skilled at helping parents who are dealing with more intensive parenting challenges including parenting a child struggling with severe depression, anxiety, or addiction (e.g., substances, gaming, internet/social media, food, sex, etc.), and can also help refer you to additional resources if necessary.
Parent coaching isn’t therapy.
It’s a way of helping you, the parent, obtain the knowledge, tools, and strategies to successfully navigate this challenging parenting season. Ultimately, my job is to help you achieve your parenting goals. And sometimes, you just need someone in your corner cheering you on!
My parent coaching focuses on two complementary areas:
helping you minimize problematic behaviors and dynamics, and
teaching you how to foster positive traits and behaviors (e.g., resilience, empathy, confidence, self-reliance, grit, etc.).
You (and/or your parenting partner) will come to me with your own set of unique values and goals.
But just know that my personal goal for you is to be a strong, confident parent who launches healthy, independent, resilient humans into the world.
